has a tie-up with SABRE (marketed under the name of SITAR in India) to
train students in Computerised Reservation Systems (CRS).
SABRE is the acronym for Semi-automated Business Research Environment. It was developed in 1976 by the parent company of American Airlines and is one of the most popular reservation systems in the world. The training on SABRE will make you a travel professional with industry specific knowledge, problem solving abilities and technolgical skills. State-of-the-art training SABRE personal trainer and planet SABRE is an innovative state-of-the-art multimedia training programme. It combines text, colour graphics, animation and sound and takes you straight into the scene of action. You interact with information as it happens in a working system. Two week intensive course SABRE personal trainer includes reservations (air, rail, hotel and car rental), fares and rules, itineraries and ticketing. Practice exercises are built into the programme to check the student's progress at each step. Examination After the two weeks training, students of TIM are examined.
