The IATA/UFTAA International
Cargo Agents Training Program was launched in 1977 to meet the growing
demands for trained staff in cargo agencies. The IATA/FIATA International
Cargo Agents Diploma has gained worldwide industry recognition as a quality
qualification, important for anyone who wishes to make a career in the
air cargo forwarding business.
The IATA/UFTAA and the IATA/FIATA
program's are basically self study courses, but is also offered as regular
courses by training establishments known as "Authorized Training Centers"
or ATCs, who are qualified to prepare the students for IATA/UFTAA and IATA/FIATA
examinations.
Two type of courses are conducted by IATA/UFTA called Foundation & Consultant course.

International Air Transport Association (IATA), is the world organization
of scheduled airlines, founded in 1945, to help meet problems anticipated
in the expansion of civil air services after the second world war.

to IATA statistics , TIM Mumbai enrolled the highest number of students
WORLDWIDE for the IATA/UFTAA Standard Course examination held in September
