What is CTP?

This course is aptly named as The Certified Travel Professional (CTP), for those who want to have a thorough knowledge of the travel trade in a very short time and would like to launch their career from higher platforms. This 6-months course is designed in such a way that the student gets exposure to all the components of the travel industry, whether it is manual or a totally computerized environment. The syllabus of CTP contains Travel Module which covers the entire IATA/UFTAA Advanced Course and also covers Computerized Reservation System (CRS) called SABRE. In addition to this, a module on training edition of OAG Worldwide guides is also included. OAG Worldwide are the world leaders of the travel Information Market, based in UK. Topics such as Personality Development, Customer Relations, Sales & Marketing etc. are included to enhance the Managerial skills of the students.

What does CTP do for you?

After successfully completing CTP, the student will be able to appear for the IATA/UFTAA Advanced Course conducted by IATA, Montreal, without any additional coaching. He/ She will be competent enough to work at a Middle Management Level, in a travel agency/airline or even set up his/her own travel agency. Students who complete this course successfully will be awarded a CTP Certification. The certifying authorities will be TIM, SABRE and OAG Worldwide a real feather in the cap !!
